The £400,000 EU Funded Agile Innovation programme was developed, delivered and led by Belinda from 2012 to 2014. The programme supported high growth businesses in Cornwall to adopt Agile approaches both within the tech sector and with other high growth sectors in the county such as Marine, Mining, Energy, Health, Finance and Marketing.
The programme achieved great successes
Creation of over 200 jobs and the growth of multiple tech organisations in the county.
Support of Tech start up businesses in Cornwall
Delivery of agile skills growth and development training programmes
Support investment into Technology to digitally transform businesses
Fund the Agile on the Beach conference to run for 3 more years and create a legacy of a self-sustaining conference continuing beyond the programme.
Creation of the Agile Peer Group who became the founding directors of Software Cornwall a self-sustaining not-for-profit organisation committed to supporting the growth, promotion and evolution of Cornwall’s Tech community and Tech career opportunities in the county.
Creation of an Agile Business Model and Methodology which can be applied to start-up and high growth businesses in any sector.
