Author of Being Agile in Business, published by Pearson and available internationally is an introduction to agile working for any business professional interested in adopting the highly successful methods and practices of agile from the tech sector. Commended by many, Being agile in Business has been internationally published and was shortlisted as CMI Management book of the year. It is also available in Chinese.  It is available in paperback, kindle and ebook formats.

With over 20 years experience of supporting business growth and development, alongside over 10 years experience of implementing agile within technical and non-technical teams and organisations, Belinda is ideally placed to help your organisation develop its own style of agility, ensuring maximum value is gained from its adoption.  Belinda is a qualified management coach and mentor, company director, and computer science graduate.

Belinda is a regular speaker at conferences and events sharing her experiences of adopting agile within and beyond the tech sector.  Belinda’s background includes the development and delivery of multiple highly successful programmes including the growth and development of the globally recognised conference Agile on the Beach.

Since 2000 Belinda has worked with an array of sectors and disciplines to support growth, improvement and innovation.  She believes agile ways of working along with a coaching led approach is valuable to all varieties of teams and organisations for improving, and sustaining growth, productivity and well-being.  

Belinda has worked for over 10 years with technical and non-technical teams validating the high value of adopting agile and coaching led approaches in a variety of sectors and disciplines, including, technology, creative, arts & heritage, education, manufacturing, design, finance, HR, marketing, and leadership.   

An advocate in the community for being agile, Belinda is a regular speaker at conferences sharing her experiences of adapting agile for its wider application in business and in life, as well as in the tech community.  Her ‘Retrospective Sailing’ game is a popular method combining agile, coaching and facilitation skills to aid reflection and encourage open communication and continuous improvement in teams. She is an ICAgile accredited trainer and works with Adventures with Agile in UK, Europe and the USA. She is also well known in the agile community for her role in the growth of the globally recognised Agile on the Beach conference.  

At home in Cornwall, she is co-founder and director of Software Cornwall, an organisation that supports its growing tech community. Outside of work, she enjoys ‘being agile’  riding horses in the beautiful Cornish countryside.
